Today, we talk with Darren, our Client Operations Manager, to find out more about his job role at the PxHub and why he does what he does.
What do you do for The People Experience hub?
I'm Darren, and I am the Client Operations Manager for The People Experience Hub; I support our Client Success team with all client operational needs, run our help desk delivering excellent support services to all our clients, devise, review and implement new ways of working, systems and processes and ensuring our ISO27001 and GDPR compliance across the business.
How did you get into doing what you do now?
I have a lengthy background in the retail and logistics industry where I acquired many skills, the role excited me when I came across it being advertised, and with new challenges and opportunities, it seemed to be an ideal role for me, how right I was!
What advice would you give to someone starting out in your industry?
Listen to your clients, embrace change and challenge and enjoy the journey.
If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
My pasta Bolognese, it’s world famous!
Which actor would you want to play you in the movie about your life?
Bruce Willis, I also have no hair.
You have to sing karaoke, what song do you pick?
Frank Sinatra – I got you under my skin, simply a favourite and special to myself and my partner Kate.
